Hands Free Leash
The Hands Free Leash is made of 2 separate parts, an over-the-shoulder strap or waist belt and standard leash. The leash can be clipped to the shoulder/waist strap via an o-ring or used on its own as a separate leash.
COLORS
Go to the Color Gallery and pick 1 or 2 colors or patterns for your leash. Please select none in all other fields. Do not select more than 2 colors or patterns.
Example 1: If you want the color Red and the pattern Black Widow, then you would select Red under Color 1, Black Widow under Pattern 1, and
none under Color 2 and Pattern 2.
Example 2: If you want 2 colors, such as Crimson and Black, then you will select Crimson under color 1, Black under Color 2, and none under both pattern fields. Do the opposite if you would like 2 patterns.
Example 3: If you would only like 1 color or pattern, such as Black Widow, select Black Widow in both pattern fields and none in both color fields.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Shoulder Leash
We recommend our shoulder leash to any one who will be taking the leash on and off frequently, or if multiple people will be using the same leash. We also recommend it if you live in a place with fluxuating weather, as it can be worn over a heavy coat.
Waist Leash
We recommend our waist leash to handlers with port-a-caths, because it won't rub, or to someone who likes a more secure fit.
Not recommended for large dogs that pull or dart. We recommend a standard or European leash for these dogs.
MEASUREMENT
Waist belt
Use a fabric tape measure, wrap it around your waist. Make sure its snug and won't fall off, but not so tight that you won't be able to wear a jacket under it.
Shoulder Strap
Measure from your left hip up over your right shoulder and back down to meet your left hip again, as if you are wearing a cross body bag.
Leash Length
Have your dog stand next to you. Again, use a fabric tape measure, measure from the connection point on your dog’s harness or collar to the left side of your waist. If you like having your dog in a tight heel keep this measurement, if you want to give your dog a little more room to roam add a couple extra inches.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Wash by hand with warm water and a light detergent.
